Food & Wine Festival

With their new dates of June 4 – 13, The Coffs Coast Food & Wine Festival is bringing 10 days of decadence to the region. Highlighting the best restaurants with a focus on local  producers, the festival will boast a wide range of Dining Experiences & Foodie Workshops, unlike anything the Coffs Coast has seen before.

Wondering what to expect at this year’s festival? Where do we begin…

Kicking off The CCFWF in style, Jetty Beach House will be hosting a 1920s Prohibition themed ‘Swinging Soiree’. This cocktail party will feature a bespoke menu focusing on the freshest local ingredients paired with delicious cocktails, whilst the live big band plays all the swing tunes from the day. Dancers, roving entertainers & more, you won’t want to miss this swinging party!

Mermaid’s Farmer Flood Recovery Lunch will draw only from farms adversely affected by the recent flood and storm damage at a lunch that looks to celebrate the diversity of produce of our region and the gumption of the farmers who produce it. That’s not all The Mermaid Beach House has in store. They’ll be firing up their new woodfired pizza oven at both a Dining Experience and Foodie Workshop.

Cafe Ophelia is pairing up with Brookie’s Gin for a pairing that will tantalize palettes.

Levenvale Farm will be showcasing their organic Bello Beef from nose to tail at both a Dinging Experience and Foodie Workshop fuelled by fire. Back Deck Dinners is bringing some of the finest gourmet cooking in the region to a lucky local’s doorstep with a unique in-house private Dining Experience.

Bar Que Sera will be spilling their secrets at a Cocktail Masterclass. Bite Food Tours will be hosting A Taste of Coffs Mystery Food Tour, which will showcase a variety of local flavours and culture bites.

Margarita lovers will flock to Tish Faco for their taco + margarita pairings, some of which are infused with native ingredients.

Locally brewed beers will experience a spotlight, both on-site at local breweries such as Woopi Brewing Co. and throughout many of the
incredible restaurants hosting.

Ground Earth will be showcasing some Box Factory Burgers paired with local beers for a ‘burgerstation’, and Gallows Brewing will be on pour at Jetty Beach House, where an array of experiences will take place.

With a successful grant of a $225,500 funding boost from the NSW Government’s Regional Events Acceleration Fund, there is a new addition to the program: a finale weekend celebration on June 11th & 12th. The Jetty Beach House will be bursting with international touring live music acts, gourmet food trucks, and a foodie tent with casual chats from top local foodies & producers. The iconic views of the venue will provide an excellent backdrop for celebrating all things food, and all things local – set to an epic line-up of live music.

Stay tuned for a plethora of more hosts yet to divulge their offerings. In the mix are Stef’s Beachstone, Fiasco Ristorante, Bruno’s Mediterranean, Osteria Fiume, Archive Mid North Coast, Emerald Beach General Store, and plenty more.

For every ticket sold, 2 meals will be provided to locals in need courtesy of OzHarvest – the festival’s official good cause. On top of this, artists will have pop-up galleries and showcases at participating restaurants for the duration of the festival. An art auction, held digitally, will also help raise funds for OzHarvest and their amazing food waste recovery efforts throughout the region. Artists include Alykat Creative, Sam Mcilvenny, Aidan.is, Shiztastic, and more.

This festival will draw in attendees from all over the region and beyond to showcase what the Coffs Coast has to offer. This is one truly foodie festival. Tickets will be available online soon, but stay up to date by signing up to their email list at: coffscoastfoodwine.com.au or following them on social media @coffscoastfoodwine
